Jerry, you developed the "802.20 Policies and
Procedures" and had them posted at http://www.ieee802.org/20/Documents.htm prior
to our Vancouver meeting. I submitted proposed changes to that
document. My proposed changes are posted as document C802.20-04/19 at http://www.ieee802.org/20/Contributions.html.
You asked if I wanted to discuss those changes in Vancouver and I replied that
it would be more efficient for the group if you first reviewed the proposed
changes and commented on them, so we would not have to spend WG time with the
initial review. The January meeting has been over for more than a month
and I still have had no reply to you.
What is
your position about the changes I proposed?
What is
your position about the gaping hole in the procedures, the lack of a process for
conducting electronic ballots on motions?
I assume
we will need to place on the agenda, the item of "proposed changes in
policies and procedures". We can minimize the time we spend in the meeting
if you will address the comments that I developed last month, and post your
reply to this reflector, rather than waiting for March.
Thank you
Jerry.
Best regards,
Robert D. Love
