Re: Proposed Agenda for Session 7 (March 2004)

Bob,

Since you use the cover page for contributions, I understand this is a contribution. In this case, thank you for submitting the
contribution. Please let me know the time you need and then we can assign a time slot for you.

If this is a proposal for agenda, I'd like to explain as follows.

Although the meeting agenda of WG is customarily prepared by the WG Chair (I believe you understand this quite well), it can
be proposed by any member of assembly according to the Robert's Rules of Order. However, since every member is able to
propose an agenda, it is hard to post every proposed agenda in the Meeting Agenda column on the web. I suggest that
everyone who disagrees with the final agenda prepared by the WG chair should prepare an amendment. During the discussion
of the agenda, please get the floor and present your amendment. Of course, everyone can make a motion to propose a totaly
new agenda during that time. You can send the proposed amendment or new proposal to the reflector. But these amendments
and/or new proposals will not be posted on the Web until they are approved.

Thank you for the coorperation.

Regards,
Gang Wu

Subject: Proposed Agenda for Session 7 (March 2004)

Gang, please post the attached document, "ProposedAgendaforSession7.doc" along with the March meeting documents.  I plan to introduce this agenda, or a modification based on the specific presentations that are planned, during our "agenda approval" process.  You may rename/number it in any way that will make it more consistent with the document naming and numbering to be used for the March documents.

All, please review the proposed agenda.  I would greatly appreciate any feedback, especially your views on ways to improve the agenda to enable us to make more progress during our March plenary session.

Thank you.

Best regards,
