Re: [802-20-GENERAL:] Channel Model Document Ver.9 and C802.20-05-32B.pdf

Hi,

Comments on the document C802.20-05-32B.pdf

Thanks to Ayman for his effort toward moving forward on the channel document issues. While this effort is very much welcome and appreciated, we had a problem in understanding the document as a whole:

Our comments are as under:

(i)              The contribution may have assumed several references, but none is indicated anywhere.

(ii)          Next, Some Notations used in equations not defined or explained (Ref: Equations 27 and 28. And same mnemonic being used for two parameters (symbol D, Please refer Equations, 27 and 28.)

(iii)        Section 1 discusses SISO model with Pulse shaping phenomenon and tries to absorb the frequency correlation of the channel into transmit-receive pulse shaping and there by coloring the symbol streams.

(iv)          Section 2 describes MIMO antenna correlation but does not mention in relation to the pulse shaping in section 1 on SISO.

(v)              Also the equation 25 is described with contradictory assumptions: omni and directional antenna cases while describing space correlation and Time correlation.

(vi)   It is not clear what scattering Model is assumed while evolving MIMO channels.
