[802-20-GENERAL:] Motion on Industry Canada Spectrum Framework Consultation

All,

Enclosed is a document originated in 802.18 that provides comments to
Industry Canada on their Consultation on a Renewed Spectrum Policy
Framework for Canada and Continued Advancements in Spectrum Management.

The 802.18 has made a motion for email ballot approval to the Executive Committee.The motion allows the 802.18 chair to be able to make format
changes and editorials, which will include the necessary cover letter
for transmittal to Industry Canada.

Please review and and sent me any comments by August 8th.

Informative: Industry Canada issued a consultation regarding future
spectrum management and policy matters. The RR-TAG developed this
response with the goal of promoting spectrum policy/procedures that will
be favorable to IEEE 802 technologies.
