Dear 802.20 Working
Group participants,
Arnie Greenspan has been selected by SASB to
Chair of 802.20. Consequently I have appointed him as chair of the 802.20
WG, effective immediately. There will be a press release issued
shortly to announce his appointment. I
have attached a draft of the press release--it may be slightly modified
before release--please do not distribute this information and wait for the
formal release.
I have personally worked with Arnie as a SASB
member and NesCom member and feel he will be able to lead the working group
as well as any person that has been unaffiliated with 802. I spoke
with him last night and he is looking forward to helping guide the WG to the
successful development of the 802.20 standards with the support from
everyone involved in 802.20.
Please join me in welcoming Arnie to the 802.20 Working Group, 802 LMSC and
the Executive Committee.
