Re: [802-20-GENERAL:] questions about January 2009 meeting

Victor

The dial in link will be provided for the convenience of those who want to participate but cannot justify travel for the two day meeting in this economic environment. The number of ports will be commensurate with recent attendance records.

As discussed at the previous meeting, quorum will be determined based on attendance in the room and therefore no voting privileges or attendance credit will be given to those that dial in. Similarly dial in people will not have to pay a registration fee.

Best regards,

Mark

Subject: [802-20-GENERAL:] questions about January 2009 meeting

I noticed that the meeting announcement for the January meeting at http://www.ieee802.org/20/ says "A dial in link will be available."

Since I have not attended an IEEE 802 meeting where a dial-in link was available, I have some questions which are probably on other people's minds as well:

1.  Who can dial in?

2.  Can people on dial-in vote?

3.  Can people on dial-in earn attendance credit?

4.  Do those who dial in pay a registration fee?

Regards,

Victor
