RE: CD ROM Distribution
I'm not sure if it would or not. We only want to update folks if they actually ARE voting members, otherwise we would need to go back and back out the folks who never made it. We've been operating on the assumption that by Tuesday afternoon, you know for sure who is an official voter and who is not, and that by that time most of the registrations have been entered so we can switch over to doing voter status updates. The process works but it's always a crush to get it all done by Wednesday at 1pm.
I hate forcing folks to wait until then, and having them stand in yet another line, when we could give them a CD-ROM at registration and make everybody's life a whole lot simpler. We just next to fix the glitch in our current rule about "voting members only" !!!
