[802SEC] RE: Student questions

I will respond politely to this UK email and the Brazil email on HomePlug. By the way, at the last ITU SG15 meeting, Intel brought in a proposal to standardize PowerLine protocols within the ITU.

I suggest that we do not respond to EMAIL sent off-hand to the SEC reflector by copying the SEC reflector. I am trying to keep the email on the SEC to a minimum - for 802 business. If you feel you want to respond do so privately, and suggest that you privately ask the person to avoid sending questions to the SEC reflector, but rather send to one of the members of the SEC (listed on the WG pages, the chairs, or IEEE-SA.

Subject:

I am student in BEng  Electronics in the University of Coventry. For my final year project requirement, I got to design and build a AC mains modem for transmitting of either digital or analog data through normal domestic power lines.
I am looking for circuit designs and implementation techniques for this.

I would like to emphasize that this is purely for academic purposes and of no commercial intend.

If the above are not deem suitable to be released to me, I would appreciate any links or tips on where I can get more information on the topic. I really hope you can help me in this, as is been very tough on my research work so far.

        Thank you for your time.
