Re: [802SEC] Nov 2004 802 Meeting - Some GOOD NEWS !!!
Thanx Mike, We were hoping that was the case because in some cases that is by far the easier configuration to secure, but we'll do our homework and come up with a best-fit solution for the group as a whole and then make sure we have some back-ups just in case.

with regard to space and networking and speaking only for dot17,
all we would want is a clean, fast path to the internet as we do not use
many of the server functions that normally get set up and could live
without as we did in portland. I suspect the same is true for .1 / .3
but I will let them chime in.

Walking from any site to any other site should not be a problem at all. We are studying the network provisioning options in detail now to make sure we have an adequate coverage plan with back-ups. Proximity-wise we are in far better shape than we were in Portland, and we are looking at possibly doing our social at the Alamo which is just across square from the Hyatt and a fun place to visit.
