All,

I'm attending the Computer Society Standards Activity Board meeting today, and it turns out Jim Moore from the SAB has prepared the attached draft of a whitepaper for the Computer Society's position on the SA proposal to revise the maintenance process.  

Geoff, if it makes sense, perhaps you can refer to this document in preparing the 802 position.
