Re: [802SEC] Conditions to forward IEEE802.15.4g to RevCom have been met



Correction regarding RevCom. This one is heading for the March face to face meeting of RevCom not the continuous approval process in January. My other three projects are on the January agenda.

In November 2011 the EC granted conditional approval to submit 802.15.4g (PHY amendment to 15.4-2011 for Smart Utility Networks) to RevCom.

Based upon the results of the most recent recirculation ballot, the terms of the conditional approval have been met.

Conditional approval checklist status is summarized below.

** As per LMSC OM Clause 14:
a) Recirculation ballot is completed. Generally, the recirculation ballot and resolution should occur in accordance with the schedule presented at the time of conditional approval.

- The Ballot occurred, in accordance with the tentative schedule presented to the EC.

3    negative votes with comments
0    negative votes without comments
7    abstention votes: (Lack of time: 4, Other: 3)
204    votes received = 92% returned
                              3% abstention

APPROVAL RATE
The 75% affirmation requirement is being met.
194    affirmative votes
3    negative votes with comments
197    votes = 98% affirmative

There were no new "Disapprove" Votes and no new "Disapprove" Comments.

c) No technical changes, as determined by the WG Chair, were made as a result of the recirculation ballot. - No changes were made as a result of the recirculation ballot and only editorial comments received.

d) No new valid DISAPPROVE comments on new issues that are not resolved to the satisfaction of the submitter from existing DISAPPROVE voters
    - No new DISAPPROVE comments were received.

** If the WG Chair determines that there is a new invalid DISAPPROVE comment or vote, the WG Chair shall promptly provide details to the Sponsor.
    -None

** The WG Chair shall immediately report the results of the ballot to the Sponsor including: the date the ballot closed, vote tally and comments associated with any remaining disapproves (valid and invalid), the WG responses and the rationale for ruling any vote invalid.

    - The Ballot closed on December 09, 2011
