Re: [802SEC] Comments and reply comments to Public Trial of Google TVWS Database

James,

Maybe we were ignoring the rules. 802.18 was operating with a ten day notice requirement for conference calls.

The FCC, NTIA and other U.S. agencies that impact our regulatory world essentially set comment/reply comment cycles to fit their needs and the politics of the moment. It would be great if they had rules about these cycles but they don't.

😊Maybe we could propose that they check our meeting schedule and have their comment cycle fit that? Yeah, right!😁

If it is something that we have a critical interest in we can (and have) file late comments. But they may have already made their decision in the mean time.

Best regards,

Mike

Mike

These are not new rules.  They are the rules under which we have been
operating for at least 4 years.

We may have been ignoring these rules, but it is not correct to say that
they are new.

BTW: Since when does the government only allow 20 day responses to any
proposed rule change?  I am not as familiar with the processes as you
are, but I thought that they needed to give adequate notification.

Thanks
