Colleagues, We are progressing with the IEEE-SA Fellowship program and hope to confirm three individuals to attend the November plenary. Once their interests are confirmed I will be requesting EC members help identify mentors for these individuals.
I expect to do that next week. In the meantime, IEEE-SA Fellowship program at the 802 plenary will begin with a luncheon held with the invited fellows and mentors on Sunday, 8 November from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm CST. The first part of the lunch will consist of a presentation
given to the fellows providing an overview of IEEE, IEEE-SA, IEEE 802. The presentation will facilitate discussion with the fellows on their objectives for attending the IEEE 802 plenary and how we can help them to achieve these objectives. The second part
will consist of lunch and an opportunity to interact with the fellows. The IEEE-SA would like to invite members of the IEEE 802 EC to attend the luncheon and to interact with the fellows. If you would like to attend the presentation and luncheon, please respond directly to Jodi Haasz (j.haasz@ieee.org) no
later than the end of business on Monday, 26 October with your response (noting any dietary restrictions). Please note that this will be a plated luncheon and an accurate headcount is required for the hotel.
