With this e-mail, I'd like to announce the start of the initial Sponsor ballot of the amendment IEEE P802.3bp/D3.0 Standard for Ethernet Amendment Physical Layer Specifications and Management Parameters for 1 Gb/s Operation over a Single Twisted Pair Copper Cable (1000BASE-T1).

Open date: Tuesday 15th December 2015
Close date: Thursday 14th January 2016 23:59 ET
