Here is a liaison statement from WP5A dealing with “Technical and operational characteristics of the land mobile service applications and their spectrum needs associated with work on WRC-19 agenda item 1.15 in the frequency range 275-450 GHz”.
Please note that Resolution 767 (WRC-15) invites the ITU-R:
1 to identify technical and operational characteristics of systems in the land-mobile and fixed services operating at frequencies above 275 GHz;
2 to study spectrum needs of systems in the land-mobile and fixed services, taking into account the results of the above studies.
For convenience Annex 28 of the WP5A Chairman’s report is attached. Note that it references Report ITU-R SM.2352-0 from WP1A, “Technology trends of active services in the frequency range 275-3 000 GHz“. The referenced version of this report does not reflect the IEEE 802 changes adopted at the June meetings of WP1A and SG1. Those changes were not technical as much as they were formatting revisions.
This should be of interest to those groups that are dealing with mobile and fixed THz communications.
WP5A is planned to meeting in Geneva, CH beginning on 07 November 2016.
