Re: [802SEC] Liaison to WP5A

Rich,

The minutes from the August 25 teleconference show that a quorum was not present, so, although the voting members present did approve moving forward, the minutes indicated that there was an 802.18 email ballot planned before submission to the EC. No email ballot has taken place, so, 802.18 has not yet formally approved this document.

Subject: [802SEC] Liaison to WP5A

Dear EC:

During the EC meeting in San Diego, the 802.18 liaison to WP5A was reviewed, but not approved. Roger Marks sent us a nicely revised version, which was then reviewed by 802.18, a few minor edits were incorporated, and the group approved the new version on August 25th.

That document is attached for your review. I would like to start a 10-day EC ballot next week, once everyone has had a chance to look at it.

Thank you.
