Dear EC members,
Conditional approval was granted to forward IEEE P802.3bs 200 Gb/s and 400 Gb/s Ethernet to RevCom by email ballot closing 25th September 2017. Details are provided in the attached report, but in summary the response to the IEEE 802 LMSC Operations Manual Clause 11 'Procedure for conditional approval to forward a draft standard' items are as follows:
a) The recirculation balloting is complete. The
fifth recirculation ballot occurred in
accordance to the plan presented.
b) The approval rate is 99%. No new disapprove
votes were submitted.
c) No changes have been made.
d) No comments were received.
e) No comments were received.
f) Please see the attached for the date the ballot
closed and the vote tally. There were no new
disapproves votes, and no comments were received.
Based on the above I will keep IEEE P802.3bs on the December 2017 RevCom agenda.
