[802SEC] 802.15 PARs and CSDs for March
Hi All-
802.15 has 4 PARs and associated CSDs for consideration in March. They
may be found at
http://ieee802.org/15/pending.html.
All 4 are amendments to 15.4. In brief summary:
mendment for a Low
Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) extension to the LECIM Physical layer
(PHY). Note: LECIM is the actual name of the PHY in the standard,
which is why it is not spelled out
15.4x is an amendment
defining enhancements to the IEEE Std 802.15.4 SUN Physical Layers (PHYs)
supporting up to 2.4Mb/s data rates. Note: SUN is the actual name of a
group of PHYs in the standard, which is why it is not spelled
out
15.4y is an amendment defining security extensions to IEEE Std.
802.15.4 adding at a minimum Advanced Encryption Standard (AES)-256
15.4z is an amendment enhancing existing Impulse Radio-Ultra Wide
Band (IR-UWB) Physical Layers (PHYs) and associated ranging techniques
