The 802.11 PAR Review SC met today and have the following comments:

PAR Comments

5.2b – “Japanese frequency band.” should include the numeric band range.

5.4 – use of “ultra” for 3 of the four “low” seems unnecessary. Suggest “ultra” may not be needed. Or only use once.

Attached is a PAR (15-20-0202-01-0jre) and CSD (15-20-0159-04-0jre) for an amendment to IEEE Std 802.15.4-2020.  

This amendment defines a data rate extension of SUN FSK PHY to IEEE Std 802.15.4-2020. It adds data rate extensions for the SUN FSK modulation and channel parameters. These extensions focus on the Japanese frequency band.

This PAR and CSD passed an 802.15 WG electronic ballot, running from 10 August to 30 August, with a voting result of 47/0/10.
