Re: [802SEC] [UPDATED] ++10-day EC Motion+++ Approval of submission for China MIIT’s consultation "Ultra Wideband (UWB) Equipment Radio Management Regulations (Draft for Comments)"

To George's comment, it looks better to me with that editorial fix, and we could clear up the power by being explicit: the new rule allows for up to -31.3 dBm PSD in some indoor applications while retaining the -41.3 dBm PSD limit otherwise.  So instead of "10 dB additional power" we could say "with a limit of -31.3 dBm PSD".  I've copied Dries to double check me on as he was involved with this change in Europe.
Thanks George.

Edward - I vote approve and have the following comment, which I consider editorial.

I think what you mean at the top of (content, labeled) page 2 might be better stated.  It is confusing as is.  I would suggest "e.g., by introducing fixed outdoor transmissions, which were previously not permitted in Europe, and by allowing 10 dB additional power for indoor operation."  - if is that the meaning.

Again, I consider that editorial and within your privilege.  I am not certain whether you were wishing to convey that europe changed their permissions on outdoor, and that needs to be clear one way or the other.  Note that "an extra power of 10 dB" doesn't make technical sense, since dB is a relative unit, and not a unit of power.  rephrasing it as I did makes it relative... Maybe you meant 10 dBm though?

Note: The message erroneously says that it regards "the motion below to approve the comments to the ITU-R Working Party 5A”.

Cheers,
