April 12 meeting minutes and vote call for Low Energy Proposed Change

UPAMD,

 

Attached are the unapproved minutes of the meeting on 12 April 2011 and the Low Energy Connect Disconnect proposed change to the current Non-Sparking Goal.

 

The previous goal would be redefined as described in the attached proposal to be capable of implementation.

 

This vote changes the definition of that goal only.  As this goal was adopted by vote of the membership, it can only be changed by vote of the membership.

 

The question of the vote is to change goal 5 from:

 

“Adapter<->Mobile Device communications required for higher power safety <0.7W Non-Sparking”

 

To:

 

“Adapter<->Mobile Device communications required for higher power safety using Low Energy Connect and Disconnect”

The voting period will be one week concluding next Wednesday at 2359 PDT.
