Hi Paul,
I see no issues...
Most of the members of this group
are associated with different companies.... and contributing towards common
goal.
And, this is a voluntary
contribution... based on one's self interest.
So, no need to get the second
thought... lets move forward. Be happy and confident :-)
Regards, Reuban From: upamd@xxxxxxxx [mailto:upamd@xxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Paul Panepinto Sent: Monday, April 25, 2011 7:45 PM To: 'upamd@xxxxxxxx' Subject: Your opinion is requested Dear
UPAMD Working Group Members: Bob
Davis, chairperson of the UPAMD, and I request your feedback. We subscribe
to the values of the IEEE meeting rules and want to bring to your attention
something about which we want to hear from you. Our working group and its
subgroups strive to ensure there are no conflicts of interest or even the
appearance of such. Green
Plug introduced the Green Power Processor, high-performance, low-power,
mixed-signal processor for PID feedback loop and PFC control that also offers
digital communication with sinks. Green Plug, like most of the members
participating in the working group, intends to support the eventual UPAMD spec,
but cannot commit to that until it is defined. Because
I am an employee of Green Plug, we want to ensure that no one feels my role as
chairperson of the Power Subgroup represents a conflict of interest either as
defined formally in the IEEE rules or even just in any member’s mind.
Please let us know how you feel. Our goal is to make rapid progress on the
successful standardization of UPAMD and we do not want anything to impede our
progress. Please
let us know how you feel about this. Thank you. Regards, Paul
Panepinto UPAMD
