I believe a non-communicating device
should be described as “mute”. Alex Schneider From: upamd@xxxxxxxx
[mailto:upamd@xxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Bob
Davis UPAMD Working Group For tomorrow’s meeting. Please consider a name
for use for the current Dumb devices. These are now Dumb and
non-communicating devices. A better name is sought. It should show
that they are not regular devices and at the bottom of the priority
queue. I would like to take a poll on the device names we discuss
at the meeting. Feel free to offer suggestions. If you have not voted on the question: Should we include source power
requirements for UPAMD device? 1.
Shall we specify AC input power
requirements as shown in Section 11 of draft? 2.
Shall we specify DC input power
requirements? 3.
Shall we specify NO input
requirements? I will tally the votes at upamd-vote before the meeting, it
is fairly lopsided at this time. Universal
