Comments for consideration at the PatCom meeting

The Patent Committee and others submitted 134 comments against the version 12 documents (available from the pp-dialog drafting committee web page at http://grouper.ieee.org/groups/pp-dialog/drafting-committee/index.html.)  The comments are linked there and also available directly from http://grouper.ieee.org/groups/pp-dialog/drafting-committee/20060912/PatCom_12_Sep_06_V1p0.pdf.  Approximately 60 of them are classified as editorial in nature.  

Please review these comments, especially the substantive ones, before the meeting and be prepared to make a recommendation on the disposition of them.  We simply will not have time to debate these ad nauseum if we are to complete our task on schedule, i.e., by the end of this PatCom meeting.  

These discussions will be largely limited to the members of PatCom plus the submitter of each specific comment.

Please come prepared!!
