Thanks Dave. With respect to Item 5.4, I strongly encourage PatCom to plan its internal discussions with the goal of releasing a draft of the FAQ and response
at least 30 days before the Berlin meeting. As you know, companies active in 802.11 have taken diverging positions regarding the applicability of pre March 15, 2015 Letters of Assurance to ongoing work at IEEE-SA. Given that difference in views, it is important
that the socialization process contemplated in the minutes can begin well before the Berlin meeting so that the members of PatCom can reach an informed decision in Berlin regarding what FAQ text to adopt.
Additionally, given the number of issues identified in the minutes as requiring ongoing discussion within PatCom, it seems to me that PatCom should consider
a longer meeting in Berlin so that discussion can be had and decisions can be reached regarding the (numerous) open issues identified in the minutes. Again, sorry not to have been able to be in Delhi. Best regards, Gil Ohana (employed by and affiliated with Cisco Systems)
