[PP-DIALOG] ACT | The App Association Comments on IEEE FAQ Revisions

On behalf of ACT | The App Association, we thank the IEEE-SA Standards Board Patent Committee for the opportunity to share the small business innovator community perspective on proposed FAQs discussed during the March 28, 2023 PatCom meeting. The proposed FAQs would provide some needed clarity to the IEEE-SA Patent Policy, and we support their adoption. Past these FAQs, the App Association supports IEEE-SA providing further guidance to resolve ambiguities in its Patent Policy, particularly those introduced through recent changes to the Policy.
