Early registration will
end October 6 (to receive the US$50 early registration discount).
The on-line registration system will be disabled at the end of the day
October 25 to print name badges and to finalize counts. Note that the
cost for walk-up registration for the meetings at the hotel is
substantially higher than for registering on-line in advance.
First-time, end-user attendees may request a promotional code for a
complimentary meeting registration from
transformers@ieee.org.
Note: A typical example of an end-user is someone who works for an
electric utility or an industrial facility. This offer is NOT

October 30: Spouse/Companion Tour - Mansions, Living History, Hot
Browns, & Julep
Start the day with a narrated bus tour of
Old Louisville, the largest Victorian district in the U.S. Enjoy miles
of grand homes with architectural styles and elements of centuries past
before heading to the Frazier
History Museum, where Louisville history comes to life. Time is
allowed for both a guided tour and self-guided browsing, as well as a
live historical re-enactment with a “Speakeasy/Prohibition” theme.
Monday afternoon is all about the
historic Brown Hotel, starting
with lunch in J. Graham’s Café, home of the Hot Brown Sandwich. A tour

guided walking tour of the historic racetrack, as well as lunch at the
