ROOM RESERVATIONS

See Room Reservation Form for discounted group room rates.  These rates are valid from 3 October until 12 October.  Rates include all taxes, buffet breakfast each day, high-speed Internet in the guest room, use of swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi, Turkish bath and fitness gym.   The rate also includes a visit to the Port Wine Cellars and entrance to Serralves Museum.  

On-line reservations via the Internet are not available.  Reservations are necessary before September 1, although it is expected the hotel will sell-out before this date.  A preferred nearby overflow has not been selected.

All reservations must be guaranteed in advance with a valid credit card.  Upon making the reservation, a deposit of one room-night per room reservation will be immediately charged to the guest's credit card.  The remaining balance will be charged upon check-out.

PORTO PALÁCIO Congress Hotel & Spa

Porto Palácio Hotel is located in the heart of the business district of the city, with easy access to the A1 Highway, 15 minutes away from Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport (airport code "OPO"), and 1.5 km from Casa da Música and adjacent subway station.  The hotel has 19 floors, 251 rooms, divided in 13 Executive floors and 3 Deluxe floors (the 3 top floors), with a total of 192 Executive Rooms, 42 Deluxe Rooms, and 18 suites of which 12 executive, 3 deluxe, 2 superior deluxe and 1 Grand Palácio Suite.  The entire hotel was renovated in 2006-07 and guest rooms are comfortably equipped and adjustable to fulfill the requirements of each guest: air conditioning, mini-bar, free digital safe deposit box, radio, LCD TV screen with complimentary cable TV and pay TV, telephone links PC (analog and digital), and free and unlimited access to Wireless Internet (Wi-Fi).  All guest rooms are now smoke-free, and there are 2 rooms for the disabled.  The hotel has a fully equipped business centre in the lobby with fax, photocopier, PC, Internet and printer.  An excellent 3,200 sq-m in-house health and fitness club is home to all the latest gym equipment for body building activities or cardio fitness regimes, great for a pre or post meeting workout or just catching up from the jetlag.  For something a little less strenuous, there is also a Jacuzzi sauna, Turkish bath and a wide-range of health and beauty treatments.  Dining is convenient with five restaurants located in the hotel.

All guest rooms are equipped with a working desk, complimentary wireless Internet, digital safe box with AC receptacle inside, and frigo bar with selection of Portuguese wines.  Televisions have access to the Internet and game console (an additional fee).  Bathrooms are equipped with a heated marble floor, heated towel racks, hair dryer, magnifying mirror, bathrobes and slippers, and separate sanitary area.

Rooms on floors 3-15 have a "classic style."

Rooms on floor 16 have "refined classic style."

Rooms on floors 17-18 have a "contemporary style."

Executive Room: Floors 3-15; 29 sq-m (95 sq-ft); City or River View; one queen-size bed or two twin beds; 26-inch LCD TV.

Deluxe Room: Floors 16-18; 29 sq-m (95 sq-ft); City or River View; one queen-size bed or two twin beds; 26-inch LCD TV.  10-inch TFT television in the bathroom mirror.  Exclusive access to 19th floor VIP Lounge.

Executive One Bedroom Suite: Floors 3-15; 50 sq-m (164 sq-ft); City View only; one king-size bed in bedroom and one queen-size pull-out sofa bed in living area, small table in living area that seats four people, two bathrooms; two televisions including a 32-inch LCD TV.

Deluxe One Bedroom Suite: Floors 16-18; 50 sq-m (164 sq-ft); City View only; one king-size bed in bedroom and one queen-size pull-out sofa bed in living area, small table in living area that seats four people, two bathrooms; two televisions including a 32-inch LCD TV. 10-inch TFT television in the bathroom mirror.  Exclusive access to 19th floor VIP Lounge.
