Furthermore this notation is defined as a starting tool.It can be improved by further addition or pruning according to the needs or the ambiguities that we wshall encounter. I think that the proposed notation should be approved as it is with a single addition to allow index notation for the interval bounds.
The consideration of infinite bounds, empty interval, and modal intervals should be delayed to the discussion of the mathematical background. I think it will be easier to introduce appropriate notations in that context.
