Dear Professor Kearfott, As you may know, IFIP Working Group 2.5 has several members who are participating in the IEEE Interval Standards Working Group. WG 2.5 is highly supportive of this effort and greatly appreciates the time and energy being put into this by all of the members of P1788. At our most recent WG 2.5 meeting a resolution was passed which makes a specific recommendation to the IEEE group. The attached letter is meant to transmit this information to you.
