Re: Include language bindings? Re: Draft Standard Text, V02.1
Alan,
The email address of that subgroup is
stds-1788-er@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
There hasn't been activity on the group since April, 2009. Nonetheless,
I have subscribed you to the group.
There is no archiving on this group, but I think I have all of the
emails. The email file (in the old standard format) is about 1.8MB.
Another subgroup is the modal arithmetic subgroup. Ian McIntosh posted
a message on compilers to that subgroup just a few minutes ago.

P.S. Both of these subgroups reside on a majordomo server on an
older PC, running linux, on my office desk. The SVN repository
with the draft standard resides on the same machine. In principle
I can support this, but "support" is limited by
time constraints involving my other activities. For instance, I
haven't got archiving to work.

We need
language bindings. This is what the P1788 Subgroup "Expression
Rearrangement" is really about. Can it wake from sleep and address
this please?
I hadn't heard of this subgroup until now, and I'm very intersted in
it. I'm currently researching the effects of expression rearranging and
automatic simplification of expressions (including its effects on
interval analysis) in my programming language "Frink"* and I'd be very
interested in seeing what has been discussed by this group.
Can you point me to this subgroup, and any archives if they exist?
