Fw: A question Level 1 <---> level 2 mappings; arithmetic versus applications

Ian McIntosh gave examples of Level 1 intervals that map to multiple
Level 3 representations, but one need not go that far: there can be
multiple Level 2 representations as well.

Trivial case: zero endpoint. Level 2 has signed zeros, Level 1 does not.

Slightly more involved: Decimal Level 2 has cohorts (and hundreds of
different zeros); at Level 1 those distinctions disappear.
