Michel, P-1788, You are ABSOLUTELY RIGHT; sorry. This motion is about TEXT STANDARD, and will proceed according to those rules. (Fault me for copying and pasting, and for hurrying to grade final exams.) George, Juergen: Please take note in your processing and in the information posted. P-1788: I remind people that, for actual standards text, 2/3 of the working group is required to vote "yes" for the motion to pass. Also, for actual standards text, we REQUIRE members to state clearly, with a "no" vote, what would be required to change their "no" vote to a "yes." I attach my (unofficial) copy of our approved policies and procedures. (The official copy is with IEEE.) Best regards, Baker On 12/5/2011 10:34 PM, Michel Hack wrote:
Discussion on this motion will proceed according to the rules for position papers.Wait a moment -- that was Motion M0030. THIS motion is about Level 1 standard text WITHOUT constructors (or decorations); the part on constructors is marked provisional and subject to a separate vote, namely M0030 (which is indeed according to rules for position papers). I think THIS mottion (M0031) was intended to be voted on as a standard text moion, with more stringent rules. Please correct me if I misinterpreted John's intent.
