I vote NO on Motion M0032.02 Midpoint

Hi,

I vote NO.

The reason for my vote is that the text of the motion is a bit too
complicated, and as shown by Vincent, this has some adverse effect with
respect to the intuitive properties one can expect from the midpoint.

Note that I am perfectly fine with the idea of choosing an arbitrary
value lying in the input interval (that is, zero for entire intervals,
extremal values for half-infinite intervals) with some best effort
mandated for the finite case : returning the mathematical midpoint
rounded to nearest whenever this value lies in the input interval. So my
vote would become YES once the text of the motion is improved.
