That is good summary. I disagree the conflict is unavoidable, however, since we may have MR at Level 1 and AC at Level 1a (see the new overflow paper).
At Level 2 we then also have decorations, so the decorated interval result
   1/[0,1] = ([1,+Inf],somewhereUndefined)
provides both mathematical interpretations: the bare interval [1,+Inf] portion of the result is the AC interpretation of the operation and the "somewhereUndefined" decoration is the MR interpretation of the operation.
