I vote NO on Motion M0034.01 Notation: NO

I understand the need but I disapprove of the notations proposed
because I find them ugly (particularly the use of overline and double
letters). In my opinion, the readability of any text heavily using
these notations would be lessened.

Also, my edition of "The Chicago Manual of Style" (14th ed, p. 437)
frowns upon such use of blackboard letters in print.
