Motion 42: NO

I vote NO on motion 42.

While I believe that decorations denoting continuity are extremely
important in many common uses of intervals (e.g. graphing equations,)
and I strongly support their inclusion in the standard, I share the same
misgivings as Guillaume Melquiond and Nate Hayes that the particular
definitions of the decorations included in this motion are not quite
correct and sometimes contradictory, such as the several cases that Nate
Hayes outlined. The use of ILL, especially decorating the empty
interval to indicate Not-an-Interval leads to contradictions.

I think this motion is close to being useful, but the problems
outlined by Hayes and Melquiond should be addressed before it is accepted.
