I am strictly against dropping or replacing [7]. It contains a more elaborate solution since it also
deals with the question of accuracy of interval evaluations.

I suggest to add:   second edition 2013   at the end of [7].

I start the discussion with a few remarks on the bibliography

- drop [1] and [2] they import only notation
- drop [10] or include other motions as well

- include more position papers or drop [5]

-add  or replace [7] by

We should decide whether we list position papers. I suggest to take those whih appeared also elsewhere
