Hi Yingqiao, Yes, there have been several edits before the current revision. As per the motion, the AMP Energizer as per motion AM-3, is capable of transmitting WPT and/or excitation, and as you have referenced,
the AMP Energizer shares this capability with the AMP AP. But part of the discussion you may have missed, is the group has not converged on how the excitation signal is sent by an AMP Energizer (that is not co-located with the AMP AP). That is why, till
the group converges on this understanding, Fig. 9-x2 has a TBD field as a placeholder for this capability of Energizer function (i.e. WPT/Excitation). Note, this is the same reason why Excitation functionality is removed from AMP Energizer in other PDTs in the D0.1 spec. My understanding is when consensus is reached, these TBDs shall be clarified. Kind Regards Ian From:

Hi Ian, Thanks for your updating. Perhaps because I missed some offline discussions, I have some questions.
I sincerely hope to get some feedback. I am confused about this sentence
“
The AMP Energizer shall support WPT waveform transmission.”.
IMO, this sentence precludes AMP energizers that only supports 2.4G excitation waveform transmission which may be inconsistent with the passed [Motion #81].
And if it is mandatory, why does the capability of supporting WPT transmission need to be defined?
