[802.3_DIALOG] IEEE P802.3db 100 Gb/s, 200 Gb/s, and 400 Gb/s Short Reach Fiber 2nd Standards Association recirculation ballot results

Dear Colleagues,

The 2nd Standards Association recirculation ballot of the amendment IEEE P802.3db 100 Gb/s, 200 Gb/s, and 400 Gb/s Short Reach Fiber closed successfully on 20th July 2022. The ballot exceeded the required 75% for consensus to approve the draft and no comments were received. As a result, based on the conditional approval granted at the July 2022 IEEE 802 plenary session, IEEE P802.3db draft D2.2 will be submitted to RevCom.

The ballot statistics are:

  95 Voters
  85 Approve
   1 Disapprove 
   3 Abstain
  89 Ballots returned

  93% Response Rate (>= 75% required)
   3% Abstain Rate (< 30% required)
  98% Approval Rate (>= 75% required)
