Dear IEEE 802 LMSC members, At the IEEE 802 LMSC closing plenary meeting on 17 July 2026, conditional approval was granted to submit IEEE P802.3-2022/Cor 2 (IEEE 802.3dr) Optical Automotive Ethernet transmitter and distortion figure of merit (TDFOM) to RevCom. The details are included in the attached report, but in summary, the responses to the IEEE 802 LMSC Operations Manual Clause 12, "Procedure for Conditional Approval to Forward a Draft Standard", are as follows. Based on these responses, I will submit IEEE P802.3-2022/Cor 2 (IEEE 802.3dr) for consideration on the 22 September 2026 IEEE SA Review Committee (RevCom) meeting agenda. The second recirculation ballot was not required. b) The approval rate is 98%, and no new DISAPPROVE votes were received.
