Note a minor editorial suggestion (does not effect my vote) - at line 55, it seems that "operating in the 8400 MHz to 8500 MHz." is missing the word "band" (consistent with the rest of the document), or "frequency range" (if for some reason band is not appropriate) at the end of the sentence....

With this email I would like to announce the start of a LMSC ballot on EC Radio Spectrum Policy Group's (RSPG) consultation on their position on WRC-27, titled 'DRAFT Opinion on WRC-27'.

James has delegated to me to conduct an LMSC 10-day electronic ballot on the motion below to approve the comments to the administration. This EC motion is per IEEE 802 OM 7.2.1 Procedure, P&P 7.1 b) (majority response) and P&P 7.1.2 (2/3 approval of votes cast) for communication with government bodies and public statements. With that we would like to see everyone respond.

Dear IEEE 802 LMSC members,

I would like to request the review of the following draft IEEE 802 LMSC submission before asking the LMSC to consider approval of the submission tentatively via a letter ballot in the near future.

On 18th June 2026, EC Radio Spectrum Policy Group (RSPG) began a consultation on their position on WRC-27, titled 'DRAFT Opinion on WRC-27'.

A few individuals prepared a response to RSPG's consultation. The submission was approved by IEEE 802.18 on 6th August 2026 with the following voting results: 12 Yes, 0 No, 1 Abstain.
