Re: stds-802-mobility: March agenda




Steve, thank you for your explanation.  I certainly understand that it may
be a good thing for you and for some of the other 802.20 participants to
have us participate in the Wireless opening plenary, although I still think
it is a bad deal for 802.20.  With regard to using that time to build
relationships with the other wireless groups to get their support at the
SEC, I have found over the last 20+ years of participating in and watching
the SEC operate, that decisions to move PARs and Draft Standards forward are
really based primarily on process.  Certainly, the WG chair needs to have a
good working relationship with the other members of the SEC, but that is
usually a given.  It is far less critical whether or not there is a lot of
cross pollination among the WG members.
