Bob, for me, the opportunities above can be useful, but are inadequate
substitutes for the wireless plenary. The 802 plenary, while apparently
sufficient for the wireline folks, is too brief and high-level from a
wireless standpoint. Two-hours in the joint wireless plenary lets me get the
most 802 wireless information in the smallest amount of time. After the
joint wireless plenary, I then know how to better allocate my time, and plan
meetings during the breaks, socials, etc. you mention above, all the while
focusing on 802.20.
For others in 802.20, as we have seen, the wireless plenary is not that
useful. I have no argument with those views.

I don't see the hardship. I see potential downsides with 802.20 not
participating in the wireless "plenary", especially with regard to our
relationships with the other wireless Working Groups -- Groups whose votes
we may need on the Executive Committee someday.
