RE: stds-802-mobility: March Agenda

Title: March Agenda

Joseph and All,

I certainly sympathize with the desire of individuals to personally keep up with all the other wireless activities in 802, especially those, that like you,  also personally want to keep up with 802.16d/e. Unfortunately 802.16 does NOT participate in the joint plenary at  IEEE 802 plenaries, therefore, attending the joint plenary will not help you with that.  I therefore urge all of you who sincerely feel that it is vital to have this joint plenary that you post to the 802.16 reflector letting them know of your desire that they too participate.

Regards,

Mark

Hi All:

I prefer keeping the original 4 pm time for the opening 802.20 plenary. I have an interest in tracking what other 802 WGs are doing.  There are several activities under way in the other WGs, especially in 802.16d/e, that may have an impact on 802.20  It is imperative that we have a broader vision than just focusing on 802.20 so that we can write an effective specification.  For one, I have not found the opening plenary to be a waste of time but a good way to hear where 802 is going with all of its different flavors.
