Last Notice: Officer Elections and Candidacy Announcements

All,
On February 26th, all candidates for 802.20 Officer positions were requested to declare the intentions, if they wished to have their names printed on the ballots.

The current Officers have stated their intentions to stand for re-election. We have also received a statement from a member stating an intention to run for Chair. This person will issue their own announcement later.

We have received no other statements.

Saturday March 6th is the last day to state your intention and have your name printed on the ballots.

However,we will take nominations at the Plenary and ballots will have spaces for write-in candidates.
Regards,
Jerry Upton

I will stand for re-election as Chair of 802.20. Gang Wu has indicated he will stand for re-election as Procedural Vice Chair (1st Vice Chair) of 802.20. Eshwar Pittampalli has indicated he will stand for Liaison Vice Chair of 802.20. Both Gang and Eshwar will issue their own announcements also.

I fully support the candidacy of our two current Vice Chairs.

Other members of 802.20 are encouraged to declare their candidacy via the Working Group email reflector as soon as possible before the election. Per the Working Group Policies and Procedures, members who declare their candidacy at least eight days before the election shall have their names placed on the paper ballots.
