The following is a brief summary of the discussions in the
last 802.20 evaluation criteria conference call on Dec 21, 2004.
- Contribution
04/89 as carried over from the November’s Plenary meeting was presented by
David Huo. Discussions include the purpose of the contribution and how it can
be incorporated into the latest version of evaluation criteria document [Ver.
12] consistently. The contribution will be updated to include a clarification
to relate the computation of system noise to the current evaluation criteria
methodology, e.g., the maximum achievable system C/I. The updated contribution will
be posted on the 802.20 web
site.
- Contribution
04/83r1 was discussed again to address the open issue on calibration
methodology for 802.20 technology evaluation. Suggestions were made to clarify the
description text, and to perform calibration using fixed instead of random user
locations. Alternative contributions were invited to describe the use of
fixed user locations in system calibration. The discussed contribution has been updated to clarify
the description text as suggested. The updated contribution will be posted on the 802.20 web site.
