We have noticed a number of major omissions and errors in the January meeting minutes. Please correct the following items to reflect the actual events during the January interim meeting:
1. On p. 4, Please include our further responses during the discussion about the non-compliance of the proposals:
"The proposal does not include transmitter and receiver specifications. The presenters responded that such specifications are not required for complete proposals."
During the meeting, we had further stated that: Based on the definition in the technology selection document, IEEE 802.20-PD-10, section 2.0, "A compliant proposal is a proposal that meets or exceeds all the system, simulation and evaluation requirements (all the "SHALL" entries in the SRD)". Furthermore, sections 4.2.5.2 and 4.2.5.3 of the SRD (Systems Requirements Document PD-06r1) stated that the transmitter and receiver specifications are required.
2. On p.9, in the meeting minutes of Wednesday, Jan18, the statements: "A first version of this document was submitted late Tuesday night....Both versions of the contribution are available on the 802.20 web site under January contributions." are incorrect. It should be corrected as follows:
"A first version of the contribution with a list of questions on the various proposals was submitted to the WG officers (Jerry Upton) at the end of the meeting on Tuesday, i.e., around 6:35pm local time. The WG chair (Jerry Upton) then emailed it to the reflector late Tuesday night. As noted on the abstract of the cover page, the contribution would be revised as proposals were presented and discussed. The revised version, which has not been posted on the website, was emailed to the reflector before the presentation. It had been updated based on the discussions as of Tuesday afternoon, with a list of major issues identified on the proposals. A few more WG members and meeting participants have provided input or indicated their support on the revised contribution, and signed up as joint contributors. It was necessary and timely to present this contribution before the confirmation voting."
Please find attached the revised version of the contribution, with the filename corrected to: C802.20-06-10r2.pdf.
3. On P.7, the two motions as printed in the meeting minutes have some errors that need to be corrected:
Motion 2: To postpone confirmation voting for MBTDD so that revisions to the proposal required to address Non-Compliance issues listed in Contribution C802.20-06-10r2 can be submitted for working group consideration.
