RE: [802SEC] Opening Plenary Meeting--move start time to 10:45 AM LT?

Paul,  Unfortunately, all of our published documentation has announce that the Opening Plenary begins at 11:00 AM.  If you try to change it at the last minute like this you may wind up with a lot of folks not getting the word, showing up late, and being pissed that they missed the first 15 minutes.  I think we should stick to the program and keep folks on a very tight schedule.  If we want to consider changes for next time, that would be fine with me, but I think we risk being in violation of our own 30-day notice rule if we try to change now.  Sorry, but rules is rules !!!

Subject: [802SEC] Opening Plenary Meeting--move start time to 10:45 AM LT?

Dear SEC,

I would like to move the start time of the opening plenary meeting to 10:45AM Local Time.

With all the work we have going on, it is be very difficult for the WG and TAG chairs to compress their presentations into a 4 minute time slot.  If we increase the time for the opening plenary by 15 minutes, I could get the general 802 overview info finished by 11AM LT, leaving 6 minutes each for the 10 WG/TAG/ECSG.

Any objections?

Regards,
