[802SEC] IEEE 802 LMSC position statement on the placement of projects in the Standards Association

Dear Judy Gorman, Don Wright and Jim Carlo,
 
Attached you will find a position statement from the members of the IEEE 802 LMSC Executive Committee on the topic of placement of projects in the Standards Association that have been rejected when proposed to their initial Sponsor.  This is an generalization of the issue we had a few months ago with respect to the proposed 2.5Gbps project that was under consideration by the CAG after it had been rejected by 802.3.
